Ferndene Park Bowling Club

Ferndene Park Bowling Club

The purpose of this group is to preserve and promote bowling in Ryton.
We store ground maintenance equipment at Ryton Cricket Club and use the facilities to raise funds at events such as Race Nights etc.
Our younger members of the cricket are receiving coaching to become the next generation of bowlers in Ferndene. Preservation of the bowling club depends not only on maintenance of the green but on the development of future generations to play bowls.
Coaching Sessions will be held during school holiday periods, led by members of the cricket club.
Additional sessions can be arranged for more mature persons, male or female wishing to enjoy the bowling experience. To do so, call Aidan Lawson 07909091926.
